VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48

VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48 is an integrated realtime VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48 system for laboratory data acquisi- tion and experiment control in midrange to high performance applications. VAXIab is aimed primarily at realtime applications with medium-to-high speed I/O rates and significant computational requirements. In addition, the multi- user VAXlab configuration can be used in low-speed realtime applications as a cost-effective alternative to single-user workstations. VAXlab integrates five key elements into a complete packaged system with unique appeal for realtime scientific users: • The VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48, VAXstation II, and VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48 with their outstanding computing power, range of accessories, and low prices. • Realtime options for analog input and output, digital I/O, IEEE 488 interfacing, interval measurement and clocking, and - serial asynchronous I/O, all with highlevel software and complete support from Digital. • Software for realtime operations, scientific data display and analysis, system management, and realtime tuning, all included with the bare system. • Access via the system's Q-bus to dozens of specialized realtime hardware and software options from third parties. • Access via MicroVMS to the widest variety of commercial and public sector scientific application software in the world. VAXlab comes in four versions: • VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48 a multiuser packaged system built on the MicroVAX II in a BAl23 enclosure and VT24X terminals. • VAXlablVS2, a high resolution graphics workstation built on the VAXstation II - with its windowing display subsystem. • VAXstation 3100 Model 30, 38, 40, 48 a high-resolution, color graphics workstation built around the VAXstation II/GPX with an eight-plane graphics subsystem. • VAXIabIRM, a rackmountable multiuser packaged system built on the MicroVAX II in a BA23 enclosure and VT24X terminals.
