The PCI to Dual Port 10/100 UTP Ethernet, NIC and Base is a 16-line, asynchronous multiplexer with direct memory access that provides local and remote interconnection between PCI to Dual Port 10/100 UTP Ethernet, NIC and Base PDP-11 and VAX systems and EIA RS-232-C/CCITT V.28 or EIA RS-423-A/CCIT V.10 ter- minals The PCI to Dual Port 10/100 UTP Ethernet, NIC and Base operates at program-selectable speeds of up to 38,400 bits per second in half- or full-duplex. Actual device speed depends on current Digital operating systems and system configuration. Full modern control is available on all 16 lines. Split-second transmit and receive rates are supported on each line, making for more efficient use of communications facilities by reducing the software demand for the receive lines. PCI to Dual Port 10/100 UTP Ethernet, NIC and Base EIA RS-232-C/CCITT V.28 or EIA RS-423-A/CCITT V.10 interface with full modern control and DMA. Includes base module only.
