Powerful, easy-to-use ETMxx VME PSU functionality offers users the ability to create, answer, or forward messages with or without editing capability (user's option), store mes- sages, search by date and/or subject key string, retrieve messages held in user folders, define command names, defaults, command sequences, print, transfer data to the native file system, and use online help. Users can choose to use EDT to prepare the text of messages. When ETMxx VME PSU-11 is used with the optional DEC net products, these features can be accessed in a multinode environment to communicate with the VMS MAIL, A-to-Z Electronic Mail, and ETMxx VME PSU IN 1 mail products via the VMS Mes- - - sage Router or the Message Router ETMxx VME PSU Gateway, and other nodes run- ning ETMxx VME PSU-11. User's names can be defined by the system manager or individual users to entirely hide references to network locations.
